About Alex
My name is Alexander ‘APZonerunner’ Donaldson and my passions are writing, music and video games. I’ve been lucky enough to find a way to combine two of my passions, and have found myself very happy writing about video games for many years now.

Like any massive nerd I have an immense amount of passion for gaming and consider my knowledge of the industry on both a business and gamer level impeccable. I’ve been gaming ever since the Sega Master System, my first console, and have been hooked ever since.

I’m based in Birmingham in the UK and in addition to my writing I am an active musician and play drums, keyboard and dabble in guitar.

I am also the co-founder and owner of the UFF Network, a group of privately owned websites that produce highly focused content for niche groups of gamers. The UFF Network includes successful websites such as RPG Site, The Gaming Vault, Media Vault and UFFSite and has helped me to cultivate my man-management skills as I arrange work and articles for the members of staff as well as dictate the editorial policy for the entire network. The UFF Network gives me the opportunity to write regularly for fun as well as practice editing and managing a publication.

What is this Site?
This website is intended as both a portfolio of my gaming-related writing work and as a place where people can read my thoughts of the latest happenings in the ever-changing videogames industry if I ever find the time to update it!
