Hey there! I’m Alexander ‘APZonerunner’ Donaldson. I’d describe both writing and video games as a bit of a passion of mine, and somehow I’ve been lucky enough to mash the two together and have ended up writing about video games for a living. I’m a lucky sod – I know.

I’m based in Birmingham in the UK and when I’m not writing about or playing games I can usually be found messing about creating, sequencing, arranging and playing music and acting like an utter prat with my mates. As you do.

I’m also the co-founder and owner of the UFF Network, a group of privately owned websites that produce highly focused content for niche groups of gamers. The UFF Network includes successful websites such as RPG Site, The Gaming Vault, Media Vault and UFFSite and is something I’m incredibly proud of. It gives me the opportunity to write regularly for fun as well as hone my editing, coding and management skills.

What is this Site?

This website is intended as a way for potential employers to see who I am and what I’m about but also features a Blog Section where I can dump any game industry thoughts that don’t fit into any of my professional work.
